Dave has been diving for years and years. As well as being Treasurer, Dave is one of our contact points for try dives and initial club training. Dave can usually be found at the club pool sessions at Archbishop Holgate School. Dave's son Rob is a member of the club and they can normally be found diving together. Dave is a Dive Leader and Assistant Open Water Instructor.

Sue Tuckett is an Independent Financial Adviser with the Accountancy practice Hunter Gee Holroyd. Sue is a BSAC Advanced Diver and an Open Water Instructor (OWI), and has been diving since 2001. Sue's interests are "fishing" and doing nice deep wrecks.

Ian works for a sub-contractor as a cabler in and around Yorkshire and isn't scared of getting his hands dirty! He is a BSAC Ocean Diver. He achieved the Club Diver of the Year award in 2007/2008 and hopes that the coming year will see him obtaining the Sports Diver and many other qualifications to help with his diving. Any queries on the pool hire equipment please don't hesitate to contact him. His 2nd passion is on his R6 which if you are lucky enough to spot him going by give him a wave.

Gary is an Advanced Diver and an Open Water Instructor. He works for a big telecoms company doing IT stuff. When he is not on club trips, Gary is usually to be found somewhere in the middle of Bridlington Bay looking for deep (ish) wrecks.
Gary is a BHI, DCA and recently become a Lifesaver examiner. Gary's son James is also a member of the club.

Russell has been a member of York BSAC for around four years. Russell is a Dive Leader and a BSAC Assistant Instructor. Russell is a bricklayer by trade but is now also a qualified surveyor - so these days he wears a posh suit to work and sits in a swivelly chair. As well as diving, Russ organises a scout troupe, goes camping, plays badminton and plays guitar.

Charlotte works at York High School for part of the week and the rest being a lady of leisure. She also enjoys been out on her bike, Thundercats are go! She also is a keen walker so if any of you fancy being above water for an hour or two instead give her a ring. Charlotte has been elected our Social Secretary so be prepared to get those knees up. Charlotte is currently a trainee.

Nick Eden is an IT Engineer somewhere Norwich. He is a Visual Basic expert (or was that basically visual) A BSAC Dive Leader and Open Water Instructor (OWI), Nick has been diving since 1999. Nick is a twinset diver. Nick will always have an answer for any question you may have, but you probably won't understand it!
Nick also won the best picture competition at the BSAC Regional Conference. He also won the best picture at the YSAC AGM in March. Checkout his website.

Mike joined York SAC as a trainee in September 2007 and completed his first open water dives in Capernwray in January/February and then the Lake District in April 2008. Mike is an Ocean Diver. He had been planning to learn to dive for some time and finally jumped in with both feet when moving to York. Mike works as a Broadcast Engineer, designing and installing broadcast transmission infrastructure in various locations. (That's erecting ariels to you and me) This can be very interesting, but rarely has anything to do with diving. Mike is new to the committee and is still developing his agenda. He believes that everyone should do their first Capernwray dives in January because he had to.
