Compressor

York Sub-Aqua Club is the proud owner of a compressor with multiple storage banks, located in a dedicated compressor house. We run Compressor operations courses on a regular basis to ensure the safe operation of this valuable asset. (See Training)

The compressor pumps to about 5000 psi. Although the compressor is only a 2 stage filter compressor, regular checks have shown it does supply air with 0mg of oil in the output.

RIB

The branch owns a 5.1 metre Humber RIB. It has an 80hp Yamaha 2-stroke outboard motor. The RIB is available for qualified (YSAC qualified - see training) boat-handlers to take on Club trips. The RIB is built on racing lines so can turn to speed when required.
