A Life on the Ocean Wave, har haar

The St Abbs trips are always popular, whether for shore diving or hardboat diving. The underwater visibility is usually (not always, as the photos show) quite good, and the reefs are covered in colourful marine life. As well as wrasse, the ferocious looking wolffish, crabs, lobsters etc there is a good chance of seeing octopus, seals and even diving seabirds. Being buzzed by a seabird underwater is a startling experience the first time it happens. There are also plenty of wrecks for hardline wreckies unmoved by St Abbs fantastic sealife.
